RightsCon is the world’s leading summit on human rights in the digital age that brings together more than 2500 business leaders, policy makers, general counsels, government representatives, technologists, and human rights defenders to connect, strategize, and drive forward the global agenda for the future of human rights.
On Friday, June the 14th, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm we are organizing a session to introduce and showcase Truly Media, the collaborative verification platform co-developed by Deutsche Welle, Germany’s public service broadcaster, and Athens Technology Center, a leading software development company. The goals of our live demo are:
- To showcase how technology can support in countering disinformation, and support in the debunking process.
- To obtain feedback from the session’s participants and to obtain the view of the human rights community and others involved in digital content verification.
- To raise further awareness on disinformation, especially within content circulating on social networks – and the role of technology in the context.
If you are attending, you can contact Nikos Sarris, Head of ATC’s Innovation Lab, for a private demo!
